Ways to Make Your Long Dental Visit a Quick Breeze

Dental visits can sometimes be long and grueling and there are not many people, if any, who look forward to their routine appointments! Here is how you can help make your visit a breeze:

Arrive early

Sometimes patients’ long waits are a result of their tardiness. Remember to add time for you to get lost/find parking, as well as for staff members to process paperwork and add you to the queue. Plus, when you arrive early there is less rushing (and less stress), leaving you glad to enjoy a magazine read while your dentist prepares to show some TLC to your pearly whites.

Confirm payment and insurance details beforehand

Don’t go into your appointment blindly – you do not want any financial surprises. Before your visit make an easy call to double check that all of your information is updated. Also remember to confirm any onsite payments that may be needed for special treatment to avoid surprise charges at the end of your appointment!

Bring List of Medications and questions

To help make your appointment quick, easy, and informative, be sure to bring along a list of questions medications, and details on any pain or discomfort you might have. Don’t forget to let your dentist know dates too! Sharing when the pain started or ended is very helpful and a time-saver since you won’t have to pull out your phone to calculate dates.
