Inman aligners at Cliftonville

Quick solutions to straightening your teeth –  invisible teeth straightening methods Inman aligner and Six Month Smiles

What is the Inman alinger made of?

The aligner contains nickel titanium coil strings that work against each other to guide your teeth into a desired position.

How does the Inman aligner straighten my teeth?

Inman aligners use gradual pressure to guide your teeth into a desired position. This pressure is applied by a coiled spring that sits on the tongue side of your teeth, in conjunction with a small bar that pushes the teeth into place by ‘pulling and pushing’ force.

What does the process involve?

Your dentist here at Cliftonville will need to take dental impressions of your teeth so that your bespoke aligner can be created. We use 3D printed models which are then digitally corrected according to occlusion and aesthetics.

You will be required to wear the aligner for between 16-20 hours a day and you will need to attend check-ups every 2-3 weeks throughout the treatment period.

Inman aligner can be used to amend the following problems in conjunction with other treatments:

  • Crowded and uneven teeth.
  • Upper and lower crowding.
  • Align and veneers
  • Align, bleach and bond.

The benefits of the Inman aligner

  • Fast-acting treatment.
  • Can be used as a standalone treatment or before a smile makeover procedure such as veneers.
  • Easily removable and inserted – similar to a retainer.
  • Cost-effective.

Six Month Smiles

This treatment is a popular option with people who are wanting to look their best for a deadline such as a wedding or event.

By employing the latest technology and dental techniques, your teeth can be moved quickly and efficiently.

Six Month Smiles makes use of standard orthodontics mechanics, but with an emphasis on the aesthetics of your teeth rather than the position of your bite.

Benefits of six month smiles

  • Improve your self-confidence.
  • Straighten your teeth in a fraction of the time taken with other treatments.
  • Inconspicuous treatment as the brackets are clear and the wires are tooth-coloured.
  • Cost-effective.
  • Gentle pressure is applied so the treatment is comfortable and safe.

Fast acting treatments do not mean there has to be a compromise on quality. Although these treatments cannot amend any fundamental orthodontic issues, they can improve the aesthetics of your smile as well as kick-start your dental health by dealing with gaps in your teeth.
