Do you feel self conscious when you smile because you have discoloured, misaligned, chipped, broken or decayed teeth? Here in Northampton we understand how your desire to smile can be affected by complications such as those listed above and we can discuss a bespoke cosmetic solution to help repair your smile.
One way to achieve this is veneers treatment.
The process behind veneers
You will need to attend 2 visits to us here at Cliftonville in order to have your veneer(s) fitted. The first visit will involve preparing the tooth and matching the shade to your existing teeth whilst the second visit will be to fit it to the front surface of your tooth/teeth. Your dentist will show you how the veneers looks over the top of your tooth before actually fixing it. Once you are happy with this, it can be bonded using a special adhesive, holding it firmly in place.
Veneers in conjunction with other treatment
Many patients choose to undergo veneers treatment alongside tooth whitening as this is a cost-effective solution yielding predictable results.
Why choose veneers to improve your smile?
- Aesthetic results – Veneers are created to fit perfectly over the front surface of your teeth.
- Long-lasting white results – porcelain veneers offer a permanent result – they are extremely stain-resistant, so discolouration will occur but over a period of many years.
- Improved durability – Our teeth, by nature, are very durable – tooth enamel is the strongest material in our bodies. Veneers will render your teeth more scratch-resistant after veneers.
