MDDr. (Prague), Orthodontic Specialist,
GDC Number: 269468
My name is Mina and I am the specialist orthodontist here at Cliftonville Dental. The aim of Orthodontics is to produce a healthy, functional bite, and improving personal appearance. I treat both adults and children to help achieve straight teeth. An attractive smile is a vital asset to personal self-confidence. The effects of straightening crooked teeth on an individual’s psychological well-being can be tremendous and orthodontics in childhood can make significant changes in improving one’s later quality of life. Research has even shown that having an attractive smile with straight teeth promotes positive impressions with regards to one’s intelligence, social and career success.
I studied at Charles University in Prague and qualified in 2010 with a degree in Dental Medicine (MDDr). Since then I have successfully passed the Membership in Dental Surgery examination and postgraduate Orthodontic training at Charles University awarded by the First Faculty of Medicine in Prague. During this period, and after my graduation in Orthodontics, I taught Orthodontics to postgraduate dental students who had embarked on this course at Charles University.
I am a registered specialist with the General Dental Council and am a member of the European Orthodontic Society and the British Orthodontic Society. I am also a consultant at Pura Dental Care and SSS clinic in London.
I keep myself at the cutting edge of orthodontics with peer review sessions with my orthodontic colleagues and with regular attendance at training courses and international conferences.
